Two new pieces to show off, both made in Adobe Photoshop. A local high school asked me to do a piece for homecoming tshirts, this year they’re having a zombie dance. I hope they like the title I came up with, I’m not above dropping a pun once in awhile.

    Night of the Loving Dead

The next piece is, sadly, based on a true story. She’s real, and she’s out there somewhere.

    Lurleen

Both pieces are purely digital, 100% Photoshop. I’ve been carving too, but it’ll be awhile before I get access to a printing press that can handle something 18×24.

I’ve been playing in Photoshop, teaching myself to make tessalations.  It’s a lot easier in Photoshop than it is in real life, so this is a practice step for a reduction screen print I’m hoping to start on this week.  For now, here’s my self repeating nightmare fuel Cthulthu Tessalation:

    Endless Cthulthu

    Endless Cthulthu

It brings new meaning to the phrase “I can see forever!”

Update: I uploaded a new version with better colors for visibility.
